Cobbold Gorge Village offers modern facilities at the ultimate outback holiday destination. Our village has evolved over the years, to provide luxury touches and all the conveniences you’d expect. This includes our award-winning infinity pool, complete with swim-up bar and the ever popular, McDonalds Deck licensed bar and bistro which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving snacks in between. Both these stunning Village assets provide sweeping views over the adjacent freshwater billabong and golden savannah grasslands beyond, dotted with towering Eucalyptus trees.

For your enjoyment, we provide aqua golf and kayaking on the billabong. Test your golfing skills and try to hit our floating target, before kayaking out to retrieve our floating balls. There’s a $5 deposit per ball, which is refunded when the ball is returned. The kayaks are available free of charge and small life jackets are available for children; it’s first in best dressed with the kayaks.

Corbett’s Store is located in our Reception and stocks basic grocery lines, souvenir items and gift ideas. It also sells laundry powder, which can be used at our on-site washing machines, located in the amenities block of the main campground.

Our tap water is sourced from the Robertson River. It’s safe to drink, but you may choose to boil it before consumption. Bottled water and ice can be purchased from the café. Please be mindful of water usage, it’s a precious commodity around here, so please don’t waste it.

Camp cooking facilities are available at various places around Cobbold Village. There are campfire rings throughout the campground. There are free gas BBQ’s and a small camp kitchen situated in the amenities block, which is available for guests to use. There’s also a communal fridge available in the camp kitchen.

Basic mechanical repairs are available in an emergency, and can be arranged through reception. Please note fuel is not for sale at Cobbold Village but can be purchased at Forsayth.

For the all-important phone and internet, Telstra Mobile Service is available at the bar/coffee shop area and the front deck Reception using your own phone and data.
We also offer our guests limited complimentary Wi-Fi internet access which is available around the Bar, Pool and Reception areas in Cobbold Village. Note – due to our remote location, there are no fast connectivity or speeds. To to ensure all guests can access the service, we limit each connection to 512KBPS, and during busy times this may be further reduced.
We ask that you refrain from using high bandwidth services and applications while you’re here (perhaps enjoy a Digital Detox instead!). Thanks for your understanding.
