Easter in the Outback AT COBBOLD GORGE
Cobbold Gorge is a much-loved Easter destination, with a wide array of tours and accommodation. For those staying with us at Cobbold Village, you can opt for air-conditioned cabins, powered and unpowered campsites and ensuite sites. Our facilities ensure a comfortable stay and include infinity pool with swim-up bar, licensed bar and bistro and free kayaking on the dam. We have a camp kitchen, laundry and BBQ facilities: pets are welcome at the campgrounds under supervision, but are not permitted in the Cabins or on Cobbold Gorge Tours (see our FAQs for more info on pets). The 2024 Easter Program is outlined below and can be downloaded here.
Tours
The highlight of your stay will be seeing the spectacular Cobbold Gorge, and we have three different tour options, so you can choose your own adventure.
- Our Gorge Tour includes a boat ride in the Gorge, Savannah Guide walk and talk on the escarpment and the Glass Bridge.
- There’s scenic helicopter flights which provide amazing views of Cobbold Gorge and the sandstone escarpment and country that surrounds it. Flights range from 15 minutes, 30 minutes, a 1 hour Heli Sunset Picnic and a 4.5 hour Heli Fishing Adventure.
- Stand-Up Paddle Boarding is a 1 hour guided SUP in the Gorge, suitable for all fitness levels with no prior experience needed. Minimum age to participate is 12 years old.

If you wish to enjoy drinks and meals at our pool bar and bistro, then we have a few little requests over the Easter period.

- Takeaway Nights. Good Friday is Fish & Chips. Easter Sunday is Pizza. Orders for both must be placed before 3pm on the day, with pick-up times to be advised.
- Bistro meals and drinks are all pay as you go unless on pre-booked meal packages.
- Guests wishing to purchase drinks from the Pool Bar must have cash or credit card with them.
Free Activities
In addition to the tours, there are a range of free activities you may like to enjoy during your stay.
