Who wants to cook on holidays? Not everyone that’s for sure and at Cobbold Village we’ve got you covered at our fabulous MacDonalds Deck Licensed Bar & Bistro. Open from breakfast and lunch through to dinner, with great coffee, cake and snacks in between, this is perfect for alfresco dining, with tables and chairs overlooking the infinity pool, adjacent freshwater billabong, savannah grasslands and Eucalyptus trees. Please note advance bookings for breakfast and dinner are essential and should be made at the time of booking your accommodation and prior to your arrival: more on this below.

Breakfast is different for everyone, and at Cobbold Village you have options. From a light Continental Breakfast (cereal, toast, condiments, yoghurt, tea and coffee) to a hearty cooked breakfast, you can decide.

MacDonalds Deck licensed Bar and Bistro is the ideal place for lunch, serving up a range of tasty treats including wraps, sandwiches, burgers and more.

Dinner is served under the stars on our open deck, or undercover on tables and chairs. The mood is relaxed and inviting, the golden hour sunset is spectacular. The dress code is casual, so unwind and let us take care of the cooking for you. All main meals are served with vegetables or salad, and the kid’s meals are a variety of choices changed daily. There’s also our Daily Specials Board with more tasty dishes to choose from.
Bookings Not Required
Isn’t it always Snack Time? Morning or afternoon. Sweet or savoury. Coffee & cake. Muffins & hot chocolate. Ice cream & milkshakes. Hot chips & beer. Cocktails & crisps. Cheese platters & wine. The list goes on and what’s on offer varies pending time of day (for alcohol) and stock.
Please note that due to demand and to assist with our planning, advance bookings for breakfast and dinner are essential and should be made at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. Advance bookings are not required for lunch. To make life easy, we offer our guests two options with the advance bookings. You can choose our great value Meal Deal which includes a three-course dinner, continental and cooked breakfast plus one (all-important) barista coffee daily at one great set price. This can be added to your booking and paid in conjunction with it.
The second option is make your reservation – for breakfast or dinner (once, or for as many times as you’d like during your stay) – and pay for your meals and beverages as you go. This gives you more flexibility, but ensures we have booked you a table for the meal / day of your choice. Either option definitely needs to be pre-booked please. So, if you’ve booked your accommodation but not your meals, simply email us your dates, number of adults, children and infants, plus any dietary requirements and we’ll make the reservations for you. Please specify whether you prefer Pay As You Go at the Bistro, or the Meal Deal package.
