Savannah Guides are the protectors and interpreters of the outback and Gulf Savannah – a network of professional Tour Guides with a collective in-depth knowledge of the natural and cultural assets of the tropical savannahs of northern Australia, North Queensland, Northern Territory and the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Established in 1988 as a not-for-profit organisation, Savannah Guides have received worldwide recognition, including a British Airways Tourism for Tomorrow award in 2000 plus multiple Queensland and Northern Territory tourism awards. They provide:

• Interpretation and public education
• Training and guiding leadership
• Natural and cultural resource management

Mobile Savannah Guide operators and master operators conduct roving tours throughout the region. All Savannah Guides Enterprises must demonstrate a commitment to conservation values and incorporate natural or cultural interpretive activities as a prominent part of their business.
