It’s always wonderful to truly experience the area you’re travelling through, and a great way to do that is by attending ‘local’ events. The Etheridge Shire and its four townships of Forsayth, Georgetown, Einasleigh and Mt Surprise host several events throughout the year, and most of these annual events are well attended by locals and visitors alike. All are drawn to our region and events to enjoy true country celebrations which are unique and full of character and charm.
