Perhaps choose a wonderful Heli Sunset Picnic complete with cheese platter and wine, or for a unique fishing trip, head off on an amazing Heli Fishing Charter.

And if you’d prefer something other than our set flights – the sky is (almost) the limit, as other options for helicopter flights are only limited by your imagination and budget, from gem fossicking at Agate Creek, to an extended charter exploring the many hidden gorges or chasms that dot our outback landscape. Please note there’s a maximum of three passengers on our scenic helicopter flights (subject to maximum weight limits per flight). If you’re travelling solo and love the idea of a heli flight, we’ll try to ‘buddy’ you with other travellers where possible so you can fly at the reduced rate, although please note – we’re unable to guarantee this. And if you prefer to fly solo – the sky is all yours (with our fabulous pilot of course!)

We operate under Australian aviation regulations where the max. weight limit per seat is 136kgs. Children under 2 years of age sit on guardians lap with a lap sash. Children 2 years of age and older pay in full for a seat.

Sandstone Discovery 15-MINUTE HELICOPTER FLIGHT

Take off into the skies and marvel at the outback when you take in more than 80 square kilometres of striking parallel fractures in the Hampstead Sandstone caused by movement along the Robertson Fault line. See Cobbold Gorge in perspective and trace its origins as it winds through the sandstone, then fly along the Robertson River and Agate Creek before coming back and doing a lap around Cobbold Village. You’ll be so glad you did!

Heli Property Tour 30-MINUTE HELICOPTER FLIGHT

You’ll truly gain an appreciation of the outback and realise the vast area of Robin Hood as you fly to the Tin Mine Mountains in the heart of the property. View Quartz Blow lookout and numerous quartz veins running up the sides of the mountains, as the Robertson River meanders below. See where Simon Terry spent his childhood in a mustering camp built by the Clark family and look for bird life on the picturesque Kimberly Sue Lake. Your tour then moves on to the Sandstone Discovery. An amazing experience.

Sunset Heli-Picnic 60-MINUTES

Spoil your loved one with a true outback experience you’ll never forget! Set off in the skies and land on top of the sandstone in an exclusive outback location visited by only a handful of people. Our Sunset Point picnic area overlooks Agate Creek and the Hampstead Sandstone formations, making it the perfect place to enjoy a cheese platter with your choice of wine before taking off again into the sunset. Absolutely perfect, and remember, there’s only one sunset per day – so book now to avoid missing out!

Heli Fishing Adventure 4 - 4.5 HOURS

Start your heli-fishing adventure with a chartered flight to Fish Hole, an exclusive and almost untouched fishing hole at the base of the Newcastle Ranges. Enjoy your scenic flight along the Robertson River plus the opportunity to catch Black Bream (Sooty Grunter) and Sleepy Cod, as well as other varieties of fish. Recognised by Great Northern as a quintessential Australian location, fly here, fish and have a beer! Lunch and drinks are included. Now that’s a fishing tale to tell!
